More on Glitter!

Hello friends!
There are still a few more days to enter this month's (last) Glitter challenge!
I am pleased to present a special guest today.
My daughter, Stephanie, is sharing a card with a touch of glitter. As you know, Stephanie has served as one of the panel judges since Day 1 and her takes on card-making are always appreciated. Stephanie is a full-time PhD student in Public Health and an avid wedding photographer. She doesn't make cards often, but when she does, I am always amazed at what she comes up with...

Here's Stephanie's card.
All is calm....

Stephanie created a CAS card with Christmas lyrics as a starting point. She then highlighted the Treble Cleft with a red foiled heart. The sentiment from Warm Wishes (Neat and Tangled) really compliments the theme. I must say that she has definitely combined a few simple glitter elements (foiled heart, glitter kraft paper and gold sequins). The effect is lovely and sweet! Big thanks to Stephanie for allowing me to share her special card and for giving me her time so willingly.

There will be no wrap-up post this time--boohoo!
I will be back on Dec. 31st, 12:01am Eastern Time to announce the three winners.
Thanks for stopping by!

Virginia's Take on Glitter

Hello! Are you inspired to add glitter to your project yet?
December is the perfect month to do so!
First of all, it is not a party without prizes...in addition to the TWO Simon Says Stamp $25 gift voucher for this month's challenge, I am pleased to announce that Winnie and Walter
is generously donating a $25 gift card to their store ! We now have 3 prizes!

Thank you SO much, Julie and Shay! Naturally, I want to create a fun, festive and glittery card with one of my favorite stamp sets "My Precious" by Winnie and Walter.
Sparkle and Shine
About this card:
~use glitter embossing powder: do not under estimate those glittery embossing powder. I first embossed the Enchanted Gold Embossing Powder on vellum.
~alcohol inks: some of you might be a bit intimidated by alcohol inks because they are super bright and can be overpowering. BUT if you use just a tiny bit, they are absolutely lovely! In this case, I dabbed the alcohol inks on the back of the vellum and it is "just right".
~be bold with the sentiment: I was just being "silly" creative and used gold thread to wrap up the sentiment. I think it makes a statement and sure adds pizzazz to the design.

As you can see, I am still having fun with this challenge. It is so hard to step down from this challenge blog. I hope that you know that!

Lastly, I want to mention that our previous guest designer Mayuri is teaching a new class "Radiant Stamping" over Craftsy! If you love anything colorful, this is a class that you may want to sign up!

There is still plenty of time to add glitter and join this fun challenge!
Thanks for stopping by!

Guest Designer-Kimberly Anne Lanegan Wiener

Hello friends!
I hope you are enjoying the "All About Glitter" Challenge. The entries have been super amazing and I have been having so much fun checking them out. Please keep the festivity going!

Today's guest designer is one of the many fans/supporters of this challenge. Kimberly Wiener has entered numerous times for the challenge and she has also won many times as the Top 10 Favorites/HM. Kimberly tackles the card challenges with finesse and skills. I once nicknamed her "The Challenge Princess"! Her prolific designs often leave you wondering...how did she come up with that!? What better way to celebrate her achievements and give her much deserved lime light!
Please welcome Kimberly from wienerhoneymooners!
Kimberly: I am so excited to join Virginia's View for this glitter-tastic challenge! Thanks Virginia [and family] for hosting the many inspirational challenges.  It is so fabulous that we are so close to the holidays and get to really glitz things up.  Bold, bright colors, Christmas cards, and sharing inspiration are right up my alley.
Kimberly: This Impression Obsession Snowflake Cover die is so gorgeous in bright white against hues of blue and violet.  I have used a fun technique and adhered an intricate die over a double sided tape sheet and added clear shimmering glitter.
Kimberly: Coloring the glitter with alcohol markers have added fantastic color to the shine and really emphasized the die. I can't wait to see all of your designs!

Kimberly: BLING it on!

I don't know about you, but I am totally mesmerized by Kimberly's bling it on card! The glittery mix of colors sure put us in the holiday mood. I hope that you are inspired and be sure to leave Kimberly some love. I also encourage you to follow Kimberly's blog and I am certain that she always has something amazing to share in her blog!

And if you think the inspiration stops here, think again. We will have more glittery projects to share for the duration of this challenge. I am not quitting just yet. Thank you so much for stopping by!
